Last week I went to Ohio for my sister's 25th wedding anniversary party. I flew there but drove back to NYC since I had some stuff I had to bring back. I didn't really decide to document my trip until after I had already started...and since I was the only one in the car, the photo opportunities were limited. I apologize in advance for the formatting...this blog thing isn't as easy as it looks.I had once dropped my friend, Keith Fisher, off at an
Eat'nPark when I gave him a ride to Pittsburgh so when I saw this I knew I
had to eat there...this is in
Clarion, PA. I did
not get the Superburger Combo Deal.
I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture of my food...but I got the Angus Classic Burger with cheddar and a side salad...it was pretty damn yummy. Oh, and an iced tea (needed that caffeine for the drive).

When you drive from Ohio to NYC it's pretty mucn I-80 (the second longest interstate in the US) the whole way...it's actually a pretty drive. This kind of photo was hard to take with the camera balanced on the steering wheel.
This was my speed most of the time. Gotta love cruise control! If you can't read it, it's about 75mph.

On the other side of the road was a drop into a valley...Jordan would've hated driving here.
Some strange truck spewing pollution.
So glad I wasn't going the other way:

My one venture into the rest stop world in Clinton County, PA (and not a bad one).
People gave me strange looks for photographing the entrance to the bathrooms. I got a cappucino from a vending machine here...I was wired!
What happened to "Wide Load"?
Holy crap, it's a house boat!

Come on, do I really need to comment? I couldn't resist. Andrea will get a kick out of it.

Sign for the George Washington Bridge. This is the only photo in New Jersey...traffic got a little crazy so it was hard to take photos. I was never so glad to be in Jersey; Pennsylvania is a big-ass state.

"wide load" is offensive to the wide community, and no longer politically correct
correctly unpolitical
Oversized load --makes you wonder what Buttzville is like, no?
